[2014.09.27] Last update before taking off braces

I'm taking off braces next month. i didn't take it off earlier as i didn't have the time to follow up, hence dragged so long.

Braces have changed my face shape.
i used to have a round face (perhaps due to the overbite), and at 47kg i look chubby on the face.
Now i'm 50kg, i even look skinnier than when i was 45kg!
This is because my face is longer and slimmer.
don't regret the one and a half years at all!

[2013.06.04] into 1yr and 3rd month...

I'm almost done! Amazed by the power of rubber band.
It slowly but surely pulled in my lower jaw, who said plucking out of teeth to match the number of teeth at the upper jaw is necessary?!

Sorry for the poor lighting. It's midnight here at my area.

[2014.01.06] 9th month

The rubber band position was changed to pull in the lower jaw and push out the upper jaw.
It will be hard to smile ;(

[2013,12.xx] 8th month

sorry for the lack of updates, still life of rubber band, but i realize that my upper and lower teeth met (see 2nd picture). i was apprehensive on how this problem will be solve, or if the whole treatment need to ''restart"

[2013.10.14] 6th month

Sorry for the super bad resolution, the picture was taken under dim lighting, so i attempted to brighten it.

i went for the nth adjustment today. Surprisingly no queue .
Dr Cheng removed the stopper at my left side by chipping it off ( was quite surprised when he did it as i wasn't alerted), and stoppers were added to my 4 front teeth ( i hate the vinegar taste). rubber band was added to my left side to pull my upper and low jaws together. i presume it's to improve the bite between the jaws. i was to wear the rubber band (named cranberry) everyday, removing it only for brushing and eating. The rubber band is to be changed everyday because it'll become loose, and it might break and hit my cheek or whoever standing opposite me. The tightness made talking (and yawning) a bit difficult.
Today's adjustment was painful.
